Henry Lee’s debut album “TV in the Corner” is out on Friday, 14th of October, 2022, via tétégé records. There is more than one thread leading throughout the album, being entangled, knotted and again unraveled. Henry Lee’s music is multi-voiced, a choir of ghosts resonating in a modern society, recited by a marble statue with a wavering chest. A dream-like figure chanting spells and conjuring ghosts from past and present. Her mystical glorification doesn’t shy away from everyday life. The language she uses starts to make sense over the course of time: Words interwoven create a meaning yet again transforming through repetition. Delicately layered melodies are clasping hands in ghost-like embraces.
